A community hub and anchor to the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco, Piccino has been serving farm to table, Italian-inspired cuisine since its inception in 2006.

As the business ecosystem of Piccino continued to expand, so too did the need for a new identity system, refreshed online presence, accompanying photography, & packaging design.

Juicy Pear took the existing logo and incorporated it into the identities of the new businesses. The goal was to maintain a common thread - the name of the original restaurant - and simultaneously establish new identities that can function independently of each other.

The identities were implemented across a wide range of products including coasters, matchboxes, reusable coffee mugs, business cards, and range of food products.

A new online presence was created for Piccino, Bar Piccino, and the Piccino Coffee Bar, respectively. Each site was optimized for mobile with special attention given to online ordering and reservations.

A branded lineup of packaging was created for Piccino Pantry, the prepared goods division of Piccino.

Supporting photography was captured and art directed in a way that not only conveyed the attention to detail that goes into each plate, but also evoked the warm and inviting nature of Piccino itself.
